10. Aela The Huntress
Aela is capable of producing excessive skills like one-handed sneak, archery, light-armor. Aela can be found at Jorrvaskr in Whiterun and she becomes available only after completion of the Companions questline.
She belongs to the Nord race. Besides, she can be obtained early and has the capability to go up till level 50.
9. Mjoll the lioness
Mjoll the lioness is a powerful Nord warrior, and one of her striking features is that she can’t be killed. She can be found in the Bee and Barb inn at Riften, or in the surrounding area. Though it’s not easy to gain her companionship, it’s worth the hard work. Besides being a wife, she can be a very effective follower. She displays great strength in the battlefield and is especially useful for players who prefer long range attacks, with max power at level 40.

In order to gain her companionship, you must be level 14 or up. Get her to like you be agreeing that Thieves Guild are evil and she’ll give you a quest. 8. Uthgerd the Unbroken
She belongs to the Nord race and you should seek her out as soon as possible. Uthgerd is an excellent companion while starting off, as she’ll wager 100 gold for a brawl. She excels when used as a tank for the player to DPS from ranged, as he provides high tankiness and damage.
Uthgerd can be found at the Bannered Mare in Whiterun. It’s easy to gain her companionship, just take her wager and beat her in a brawl. Uthgerd might seem intimidating but can be won easily. Moreover, she even has her own house.
7. Borgakh the Steel Heart
Though she belongs to the Orc race which is arguably one of the least attractive races, she serves as a formidable follower, wielding powerful weapons and heavy armor. She can be found at Mor Khazgur.
To gain her simply take her on as a follower and she’ll mention marriage if you wear the Amulet of Mara. After that, you get to move into Larak’s Longhouse, a huge Orc structure that serves you well. She may be a good choice if you are an aggressive player. Annekke can be obtained by visiting Darkwater Crossing and completing the quest which she gives you.

5. Brelyna Maryon

But she shares her space with the player only upon marrying her. She can be found in the Hall of Attainment in the College of Winterhold and can be obtained by completing Brelyna’s Practice quest.

Serena is quite different in comparison with other followers or wives in terms of her unique abilities. She has the ability to interact with her environment, even when outside the combat. Serena can go up to level 50 and has the unique ability to raise corpses to help in battle. By undergoing a terrifying ritual and pledging herself to Molag Bal, Serena became a cold-blooded vampire.
She comes as a part of Dawnguard DLC and is a powerful necromancer. Serena also has the ability to switch from destruction spells to melee weapons. She carries the tag of the Daughters of Cold Harbour and she can’t be killed.
3. Jenassa
She can be easily available as a follower of just 500 gold. She is proficient in combat up to level 40. Besides her excellent archery skills, her stamina, HP, and light armor skills will blow you away.
Jennasa is an ideal candidate for those looking for a complete package early on. She can be found at The Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. To make her your wife, you need to at least hire her once.

Camilla can be found in the Riverwood Trader shop in Riverwood. She’s one of the most beautiful potential wife’s and so naturally, there are a lot of men chasing her. To marry her you must complete the Golden Claw quest.
As a reward for marrying her, you’ll get a room in Riverwood Trader and you can choose whether to move in there. If you may consider this a downside, Faendal continues to visit her even if she gets married to someone else.
1. Muiri
Though she is only level 6 and won’t survive if she enters s fight and dies permanently, she can allow you purchase and sell potions or ingredients you don’t need, as she’s an Alchemist and runs an Alchemy shop.
She has an overall pleasant appearance while sporting some facial tattoos. Muiri can be found at The Hag’s Cure shop in Markarth. She becomes available after you complete the Mourning Never Comes quest. Upon marrying her you will have access to a bedroom in the Hag’s Cure.
